Warm up your February with hot Brazilian jazz - it'll feel more like Rio as our Minas Quartet returns to SOUTH, Philadelphia's premier jazz club for two nights, two shows per night, Feb. 9 and 10.
The music will be jazzy, but we'll be spicing it up with tropical sounds, batucada drumming, samba whistling, originals, sambas, as well as songs from Sergio Mendes, and maybe even a few from our sold-out show this past fall - Beatles in Bossa Nova. Upbeat is the climate and you'll most likely feel like dancing!
And besides the music and full service bar, there's the award-winning kitchen at SOUTH which will wow your palate with their New Southern fare in a great cosmopolitan atmosphere.
