January 14, 2023 12:00-8:00PM iMPeRFeCT Gallery's Closing Day of Oluwafemi Exhibit

We had originally planned to end GROOVE’s run with a Nigerian dinner to honor our current exhibiting artist @olwfm this Sat Jan 14. After further consideration and taking into account the fact that he has a newborn at home, he feels it risky to be in a room without ventilation and eating with a large group of people and we agree, so we have opted to change plans and instead have extended hours until 8pm with a chance to hang out with OLUWAFEMI.

@olwfm will be here from 5-8pm.

A lot of his postal stickers have sold, but he’s bringing a new batch that day!

If you bought any of his work, this might would be a good night to pick up your piece 🥰 otherwise don’t worry, we’ll contact you.

Come on by!

Oluwafemi is a rhythmist based in Philadelphia and originally from Lagos, Nigeria. He explores how our lives embody and reflect the universal phenomenon of pattern and repetition. His visual and musical work spans deejaying, music production, pen illustration, painting and digital video art. He blends influences from hip-hop, Mathematics and African culture in deejay sets, drawings, projection art and murals experienced throughout Philadelphia and beyond.
