October 2, 2021 7:30-9:30PM Sintonia: Belquer & Dende

iMPeRFeCT Gallery invites you to hear the fusion of the musical styles of Dende Macêdo and Daniel Belquer, both from Brazil and living in the States.
This event will take place outdoors (weather permitting) directly across from the gallery (otherwise it will be in the gallery).
Suggested Donation $10 at the door
(Cash, Venmo or Cash App)
Dende is a master in turning everyday objects into music totems, sculptures of sound and beauty where we least expect to find it. Belquer comes from garage science and technology, creating his tools from combining computers and electro-electronic keyboard instruments with a vast vocabulary drawing from many music traditions worldwide. They both meet in Brazilian roots. This event will take place outdoors across from the gallery.

September 19, 2021 12:00-3:00PM Feria del Barrio 2021 at 5th and Lehigh Sts.

Celebrating 37 years of community and sharing to the beat of live music, dance, activities for the family, we invite you to be part of Feria del Barrio 2021! (Feria). After needing to cancel last year festival as we needed to switch to an all virtual celebration, we are counting on the current realities to allow us to celebrate in person. Scheduled for Sunday, September 19, 2021, we promise the event will again be a celebration of community, of arts and culture, of education and economic development in the Golden Center. Come and enjoy a family friendly fun event supported by TV media partner Telemundo62 and our corporate partner PECO.
We hope the circumstances will allow us to meet in person, having sponsors, tables, vendors and lots of activities for children and adults alike. We feel strongly that we want to reach our community with an event that brings us together as community.
We are also taking the opportunity to honor three local heroes we lost this past year, and whose commitment to community service make us proud..
Feria is presented and produced by Taller Puertorriqueño in partnership with Asociación de Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM), Congreso de Latino Unidos, HACE, and Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas. It is the largest event presented by a coalition of organizations dedicated to promoting art, culture, education, health, economic development, and community.

September 18, 2021 12:00-8:00PM Festival LatinoAmericano in New Holland, Pa

The purpose of the Festival, our signature event, has always been to bring together all the diversity of the Hispanic peoples from the 21 Latin American countries as well as to present to the local non-Hispanic community at large a panorama of our rich heritage and traditions through music, dance and food. It is this sharing of culture for which we strive. All the wonderful folkloric musicians, groups, dance troupes and performing artists that we have had in Lancaster County these past years, along with many “firsts,” is amazing. And the public is responding. From the first year of around 2,000 people to the last several years’ more than 15,000 attendees throughout the day, the response is exciting—families, young people, a variety of Latinos, young and old, and many non-Latinos. And the Festival is enhanced by the many businesses and non- profits sharing what they have to offer to the community.
