January 2, 2015 6:00-9:00 PM First Friday at The Barnes Foundation with M'Balia Singley and Luke Carlos O'Reilly and Friends

FIRST FRIDAY! CELEBRATE THE MOMENT
Join us for a toast to the new year and a celebration of Dr. Barnes's birthday with the music of M'Balia Singley and Luke Carlos O’Reilly and Friends, a roots-gospel-country band. Meet fashion designer Wale Oyejide, whose menswear line, Ikiré Jones, marries African aesthetics with Neapolitan tailoring. And hear a short talk by Barnes docent Molly Walker on the benefits of mindfulness and how Dr. Barnes advocated for it in his experiment in education. Don’t miss a moment this First Friday! In partnership with Onehunted.
