Workshop: Ancestral medicine Hand-Drum making.
“Semillas Ancestrales” te invita a este taller de elaboración de tu tambor Medicinal de mano. El uso de el Tambor se remonta a las culturas más antiguas en el planeta. El tambor es un instrumento de poder, llamado también una “medicina” porque a través de su conexión con el aire permite entrar en estados que inducen a la calma, serenidad, sanidad y balance armónico de el ser.
El tambor es el primer latir de el universo, el latir de el hombre. Este taller te guiará a poner de tu propia esencia y elaborar el latir de tu corazón, a la manera más antigua, guiado por un instructor en las medicinas antiguas y con el uso de materiales orgánicos los cuales han sido presentados en ofrenda a los rumbos de el universo y en rituales de honra hacia la energía que los provee.
Este taller te guiara paso a paso en el ritual de elaboración, consagración y uso de el tambor de mano. Este tu tambor se consagrara para que te sirva como vehículo sanador para ti y para ser usado en frecuencias de sanacionl para pacientes con salud física y emocional quebrantada.
Este taller tiene un costo de $80 dólares.
El taller incluye todos los materiales tales como base de 12-14 inches de tambor, piel de cabra, chivo o alce, más baqueta para tocar, piel para tejido de el tambor, plumas y chaquira de adorno.

La hermana Brenda “Alcon Elevado” Anglin, RN, BSN, es una sanadora que honra la Madre Tierra y sirve como guía en la transformación personal. Tuvo el despertar a su linaje nativo americano; Cherokee, a través de su abuela y los ancianos de la tribu. Brenda “Alcon Elevado” es también Enfermera de profesión, una ardua defensora de la calidad de vida en los individuos, educadora y presentadora en temas de salud personal y dama de compañía en cuidado paliativo a pacientes con enfermedades graves y terminales. Su compasión la ha llevado en más de 40 años a la búsqueda interna y a cambio ha recibido los regalos de las enseñanzas de los abuelos, quienes en su camino le han compartido a Brenda las formas de representar los elementos rituales tales como tambores, chanupa medicinal, entre otros, y conectar a otros a través de su enseñanza.
La hermana Brenda “Alcon elevado” utiliza el sonido como parte de el viaje que permite escuchar el latido de el corazón de nuestra Madre Tierra. A través de la creación de un tambor de medicina de uso personal se honra al hermano animal que nos presta su piel para el tambor y la vibración de sanacion que nos regala. Brenda “Alcon Elevado” es una fuerte defensora de la educacion en temas de indigenismo y cree firmemente en el proceso de nacimiento de el tambor y su sonido sanador.
”Semillas Ancestrales” (Ancestral Seeds) invites you to this workshop of ancestral hand drum making. The use of the drum dates back to the oldest tribes in the universe. It is also called “medicine” because with its sound as a product of vibration and the wind, it creates waves that connect with the human frequency, aligning and in sync with the human body.
In this workshop you will be guided by an instructor in the ancestral medicines to make your own hand drum. This ceremony of hand-drum making will be consecrated to give thanks to the elements from nature that provided it. This hand-drum will be a healing tool for you and to be used as means of elevating vibrational frequency on individuals with fractured health and their emotional being.
The workshop cost $80 dollars.
The cost includes all the materials such as a 12-14 inches drum frame, leather trims for lacing, drum beaters, leather from elk, goat or moose, rawhide for drum, feathers and crystal beads for decoration.
About the workshop facilitator:
Sister Brenda “Soaringhawk” Anglin, RN, BSN, is a healer that honors Mother Earth and serves as guidance in the process of personal transformatio. She had the awakening of her heritage from the Cherokee people through her grandmother and the elders in the tribe. Brenda “Soaringhawk” is also a registered nurse by profession and an avid advocate for the quality of life of individuals. She is also an Speaker on topics of personal health and companion for palliative care patients. Her compassion has taken her in a 40 years personal journey and in exchange she has received the gifts of the teachings from the elders, whom have shared with Brenda the forms to represent the ritual elements such as the drum making, bearing the medicinal chalupa and others, to connect with others through her teachings.
Sister Brenda” Soaringhawk” uses the sound and journey work to listen to the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Through the creation of a medicine hand drum, you will honor our brother the animal that let us use his hide for the drum and the healing vibration it brings. Brenda” Soaringhawk” is a strong advocate of education on indigenous matters and firmly believes in the process of birthing of a drum and its healing sound.
