Encendido Navideño Kickoff on December 3rd, 2022 from 4-8pm
Please join us as we kick off more than a month of festivities with music by Los Bomberos De la Calle . Experience the magic of Christmas in the center of North Philadelphia. Stroll beneath arches of twinkling lights and explore a winter scene of uniquely decorated casitas, or “little houses,” inspired by the jíbaro traditions of the Puerto Rican countryside.
Encendido Navideño will light up North Philadelphia with the Christmas spirit. Save the dates below and keep an eye out for more information:
Dec. 3, 4 – 8 pm: Bring the whole family to opening night for performances by Los Bomberos de la Calle, holiday vendors, Christmas craft tables, and more.
Dec. 10, 4 – 8 pm: Did someone say date night? Learn how to mix the perfect coquito—Puerto Rico’s festive rum cocktail—and brush up on your salsa skills with a dance workshop.
Dec. 16, 6 – 9 pm: Take care of any last-minute holiday errands with the help of Taller’s Christmas elves. Sew a stocking, make some jewelry, design a tote bag, and wrap your gifts.
