Hello Philly Drum Project Members!
We're so excited to be working with our friends Alex Cohen, Ramon Montagner, and Pocket Percussion (123 N. York Rd. Willow Grove, PA 19090) to present this FREE in-person clinic on Tues. 4/4 at 6pm!
Alex will be covering:
- Ostinato soloing
- Double bass concepts
- Advanced Polyrhythms
Ramon will be covering:
- Push-Pull
- Slide Technique
- Dual Grip
- Musical applications
There are also a select amount of PRIVATE LESSONS available prior to the clinic. Please contact Pocket Percussion at 267-606-3810 to schedule your lesson!
Philly Drum Project is a Percussive Collective founded in 2011, dedicated to making drumming more accessible in the Philadelphia area by helping those in our region share lessons, beats, and gear in an environment where community, creativity, education, and diversity are valued.
Beats, Brews, & Banter and PDP Presents are periodic free events that have featured such drummers as Eric Slick (Dr. Dog), Spanky McCurdy (Jill Scott, Lady Gaga), David Uosikkinen (The Hooters), Charlie Hall (War on Drugs), Fred Berman (Amos Lee), and David Garibaldi (Tower of Power).
