Los Bomberos De La Calle is a music group directed by Anthony Mendez aka Mr. Tony.
Los Bomberos De La Calle is a music and dance ensemble who has been together for over 10 years. Their mission is to preserve Bomba & Plena music as well as to bring good vibes and positivity to as many communities we can in the tri-state area.
During assemblies Los Bomberos De La Calle engages the audience by speaking about the history of Bomba and Plena music and sharing a few songs and their meanings. Their performances and assemblies are very interactive during the songs as well as when the dancer shares some basics steps for the audience to pick up. Los Bomberos De La Calle plays and teaches the Bomba and Plena Genres so the audience will have a very good perception of what the two most authentic Puerto Rican music styles sounds like.
Los Bomberos De La Calle music and dance artists within the group have over 18+ years experience in this musical genre and connecting with the community through various events throughout the years.
