Join Kùlú Mèlé for an exhilarating Master Class with acclaimed choreographer, Ronald K. Brown! Ronald K. Brown, founder and choreographer of the Brooklyn-based Evidence, A Dance Company, makes dance stories derived from his interpretation of the human condition and refer to numerous cultural sources. These sources include history, traditions, and dance forms from Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa, combined with kinetic storytelling, modern and urban dance movement.
African and Afro-Cuban dancers and dance students of all levels are invited. Come experience Ron’s distinctive technique that effortlessly weaves African, Afro-Cuban, modern and urban dance into an exciting tapestry of movement. Join us! (Light lunch and conversation with Ron immediately following the class.)
