Join the Bride for an evening of invigorating new jazz by Philly’s established heavy-hitters. This journey of experimental sound showcases Brian Marsella’s first project as a bandleader, Imaginarium, while the Bride welcomes back worldclass Brazilian drummer Cyro Baptista of Beat the Donkey. Lucas Brown, known for his work with Three Blind Mice, offers a twist with his lineup by combining electronic and acoustic instruments to breathe new life into classic repertoire. Between the organ and the flailing fingers of Marsella on the keys—and animal calls— this evening will be a true melodic adventure.
