South Street Headhouse District kicks off Philly's summer festival season with a totally free, all day, all-ages celebration of the district's best sights, sounds, tastes and sips. This year we've added tons of surprises! Don't miss out!

Festivities will take over South Street between Front and 8th Streets, plus continue onto 2nd Street Plaza between South and Lombard. All activities are free and open to the public. Food and drink are pay-as-you-go. Rain or shine! #SouthStFest

* MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT *

The district will come alive music, entertainment and dancing on 3 stages, 8 street locations and inside select restaurants/bars. Enjoy rock, blues and other great combinations as programmed by Legendary Dobbs, Twisted Tail and Brauhaus Schmitz. Follow the music to stage at 5th/South, 700 block of South and 2nd Street Plaza. Stay tuned for info on acts and street locations.

* FOOD & DRINK *

Over 20 restaurants and bars will serve up a full compliment of food and drink with cuisines, cocktails and brews from around the world. Enjoy signature dishes and even some off-menu surprises. All food and drink is pay-as-you-go.

ARTISTS + SHOPPING *

Over 40 artists, crafters, and retailers of all kinds will fill the street and our Artisan fair to serve your shopping needs. District merchants from South Street, Headhouse, Fabric Row and more will offer day of specials and other promotions.

* FAMILY FUN + MORE *

The Kids Zone will be packed all day with engaging activities for the young and the young at heart. Let your young artists express themselves with hands-on art and craft projects. Also, don't miss the Heroes Zone, recognizing the service of those in law enforcement, fire fighting, and the military.

* ART/GAGE WITH PHILADELPHIA MAGIC GARDENS *

ART/GAGE is an initiative by Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens’ (PMG) to provide low cost or free arts experiences within local communities. PMG's seventh annual ART/GAGE Festival will take place during Spring Festival -stay tuned for details!
