We continue our FREE monthly series this Monday with a special guest who taught at last year's DrumPhil summer program, Dan Monaghan! Dan is a brushmaster, snare drum connoisseur, and adjunct instructor of jazz studies at Temple University. After studying classical percussion for eight years he went on to earn a Bachelors of Music in jazz studies from Temple. Since then he has performed with some of the top names in jazz, including Eric Alexander, Peter Bernstein, Joe Magnarelli, and Randy Brecker. In addition, he has recorded with artists such as Jimmy Bruno, Elio Villafranca, Joanna Pascale, Larry McKenna, Tom Tallitsch, Meg Clifton, and Mike Kennedy. He is also a frequent clinician at schools, colleges and festivals.
