In 2013, Philly Drum Project brought 12 high school drummers to The University of the Arts in center city to learn from some of the best drummers and educators in Philadelphia, collaborate on a drum-based piece of music, and perform their pieces for the community. Thanks to the financial support of Philly Drum Project members, the program fee for DrumPhil was just $20, ensuring that students of all backgrounds had an equal opportunity to participate.
