Saturday, July 16th from 10am–2pm
Live performances illuminate the river while audiences boat, play and picnic along the Schuylkill River.
They will lead a processional at 10:25 am from the top of Boxer's Trail near Mander Recreation Center down to the river where they will perform. Please join them in celebrating and honoring the spirit of fresh water, community, love, and joyfulness.
Artists include Lead musician of Alô Brasil Alex Shaw, Brazilian Dance Artist Cleonice Fonseca, Kulu Mele Artistic Director Dorothy Wilkie, Kulu Mele Music Director John Wilkie, Kulu Mele Dance Captain Ama Schley, Kulu Mele Principal Dancer Payin Schley, Kulu Mele Dancer Peaches Jones, and Kulu Mele Musicians Omar Harrison and Kenneth Fauntleroy.
