Pablo Batista’s Latin Jazz Ensemble brings tropical heat to SOUTH on February 17 and 18. The event will also feature the songbird, Nina Rodriguez who burst on the scene with her vocal on the Louie Lou Gorbea house music hit, “Bembe”. Rodriquez has garnered the respect of Latin music lovers for her command of folkloric as well as pop idioms. A master percussionist, Batista is noted for his work with Eddie Palmieri, Grover Washington, Jr. and Alicia Keys.
