February 9 and 10, 2021 Digital Rally for Philly Arts

 

Join arts and culture organizations Power Street Theatre, SouletriLight Thief ProductionsTheatre In The XPhiladelphia Asian Performing Artists (PAPA) and Taller Puertorriqueño for the 2021 Digital Rally for Philly Arts February 9 and 10, 2021.

 

Streaming live for 10 hours each day on Power Street’s FacebookTwitter, and YouTube accounts, the Digital Rally for Philly Arts will feature 50+ Philly artists and organizations with performances and discussions spanning from writers, comedians, poets, musicians, dancers, theater artists, and more. The goal of the rally is to highlight the value of arts and culture in the city, ahead of City Council’s budgeting decisions for the next fiscal year.

The 2021 Digital Rally will be hosted by Tanaquil Marquez, Nicole Stacie, Lindo Yes and Sinta Storm. Participants include drumer Karen Smith, Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Quiara A Hudes, the Artblog, poetry by Rachel O’Hanlon Rodriguez, Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists, city budget discussions led by Asaki Kuruma, and more. 

 

On both days, the Digital Rally will "break" for one hour from 3-4pm on streaming platforms to enjoy live music by DJ Nic Lopez and Tik Tok dance instruction by Taylor J Mitchell on PST's instagram. Let's celebrate and dance!
