CCCADI ZUMBI SERIES CONCLUDES MARCH 4, 2021 @7:00PM WOMEN’S HERITAGE PROGRAM On Thursday, March 4, 2021 CCCADI will conclude its multipart ZUMBI SERIES. Program features two short films – I, A BLACK WOMAN, RESIST A short film about Marielle Franco – the Afro-Brazilian political leader who was assassinated 2018 by police in Rio de Janeiro. UM JANTAR (The Dinner) A short film from the Cinema Quarantine Project about the lonliness of quarantine. Shot with i-Phone 7. In celebrating Women’s Heritage Month CCCADI will screen two short films and feature an inspired conversation with Dr. Sharrelle Barber and Dr. Rachael Harding, addressing women of color at the margins of society fighting for equality as warriors and healers.
