You are invited to see Renny’s new body of work at our new space, the iMPeRFeCT Studio (address below). His series “Little Girls Seven and Eight, They lose Their Flowers Every Day” uses black tactical military flags and hair barrettes to bring to light issues of incest and the molestation of children. In the military, black flags are used to communicate that troops are in distress… little girls are also troops in distress.
The Open Studio will take place from 5 - 8pm and it will be followed by a Rumba.
This events will be held at the iMPeRFeCT Studio at 5547 Germantown Ave. Apt #2A in Germantown.
