Raul y su ClaveAché is a Cuban music powerhouse created by Raul Cisneros, a renowned British-Cuban percussionist, producer and song-writer with more than 20 years of performance experience. The rest of the band consists of some very prominent young jazz musicians from Philly. The band is well known for its energetic performance and authentic Cuban sounds, with repertoire extending from traditional melodies to original songs by Raul. Afro-Cuban genres and rhythms are dominant in the band’s music style; one can also expect to find influences from Jazz, Funk and Blues.
