Enjoy an evening of art, live music, film, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer. This evening’s program is presented in partnership with the Philadelphia Latino Film Festival (PHLAFF)—the region’s only festival showcasing the extraordinary and innovative work of emerging and established Latinx filmmakers.
Our collaboration with PHLAFF features a night of Caribbean soul with the Latin fusion band, Afro Dominicano. This all-star group blends traditional Dominican music — perico ripiao, palo, merengue de orquesta, and bachata — with Afro-beats, reggae, calypso, samba, funk, rock, and more.
