Grammy Award-winning vocalist Meshell Ndegeocello pays homage to James Baldwin in her latest album, No More Water: The Gospel Of James Baldwin, described by The New York Times as "the most hauntingly, melodically beautiful work she’s made." Throughout her fruitful career, she has defied norms and revolutionized the neo-soul, jazz, and R&B genres, working with The Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, Madonna, H.E.R and more along the way.
