Dendê and Band will be making their stage comeback in Philly as we prepare for a summer filled with musicality and performances. Join us on Sunday, May 31st at The Fallser Club at 6pm for an electric Dendê and Band performance.
Mixing the Afro-Brazilian rhythms with world wide music and putting his own energy and uniqueness to it, Dendê is a percussionist, singer, composer, bandleader, teacher, and multi-instrumentalist. He’s been a professional musician since the age of 14, when he appeared in the frontline of Timbalada, Carlinhos Brown’s superstar percussion ensemble. Since 2001, he’s been splitting his time between the US and Bahia, working with his own ensembles.

Bringing the roots of Samba Reggae music, Batala Philly is an all-percussion community band that plays Samba Reggae music from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
Now opening the Dendê and Band’s stage comeback with an electrifying performance, Batala’s distinctive sound will bring the energy and the urge to dance like nothing else. Come ready to enjoy good music, have lots of fun and daaaance!!
Tickets $20 online, $25 at the door. Only door tickets will be available after 4pm on the day of the show Doors at 5:30pm Online tickets: $20. + $2.07 fee ($25. at the door)
