Join Philadelphia-based Latin percussionists and bandleaders Andrés Cisneros and Simon Martinez (De Tierra Caliente), along with a rotating lineup of musicians, for an evening of authentic Latin jam sessions.
The descarga is where musicians gather to improvise, connect, and create. These sessions became the laboratory of modern Afro-Caribbean music.
Open to musicians and Latin music lovers who want to experience the foundational rhythms, sounds, and spirit of Latin music.
