Inspired by their mutual love of stargazing and astronomy, this pair will play on a mix of moon-glowing jazz standards and stardust-y original tunes from Erica Corbo's album, "I, America."

For Terry, “musicians are cultural ambassadors by default—constantly working with people from different cultures, and traveling to different places. With Today’s Opinion I had a chance to incorporate these cultural influences, while offering my own ‘op-ed’ piece on where I think music is and any analysis of where I see jazz headed.”
Terry is joined by a stellar cast of longtime collaborators. The group is built upon the commanding bass work of Yunior Terry, Yosvany’s younger brother. Haitian-American drummer Obed Calvaire, a rising force on the jazz scene, provides dazzling rhythmic currents, while Cuban pianist Osmany Paredes is a formidable bandleader and composer in his own right. Trumpeter Michael Rodriguez is a leading voice on the New York scene best known for his work with Charlie Haden (and his brother, pianist Robert Rodriguez) and Cuban percussion virtuoso Mauricio Herrera, like Terry a cultural bearer of various Afro-Cuban traditions, completes the ensemble.

About Fulsaso:
From the David Rubinstein Atrium at Lincoln Center and notable festivals like the International Festival of Arts and Ideas, and GreenRiver Music Festival, to the notorious NYC night clubs Brooklyn Bowl, Nublu, and SOBs, Fulaso is spreading a high energy dance party epidemic with a signature sound that emanates the 60’s and 70’s of Spanish Harlem in New York City since its inception in 2014. This unique ensemble has opened for iconic legends Joe Bataan, Harvey Averne, and Ismael Miranda. They have also been fortunate share the stage with contemporary favorites Pedrito Martinez, Troker, Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra, and Karikatura, to name a few.
Fulaso's music is a pure window into the band’s incredible soul and original live sound. Fulaso boasts two self-produced EP’s recorded live to analog, and a third recorded this past November at The Creamery Recording Studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Following their first EP, Funky Latin Soul released in 2015, The Funky Basement was released on a two-sided vinyl 45 of La Rumba, backed with My Little Baby courtesy of Peace & Rhythm in association with Enlace Funk. Fulaso expects to release their third EP no later than summer 2018 and can’t wait to share the newest additions to their signature brand of Funky Latin Soul!

Lorraine Klaasen, the daughter of legendary South African Jazz singer Thandie Klaasen, is one of the few South African artists who have preserved the classic sound of Township Music, among the most distinctive sounds to come out of South Africa. Born and raised in Soweto, Lorraine has electrified audiences worldwide with her dynamic stage presence and showmanship. She was influenced by South Africa’s musical giants of the 1950’s and 1960’s, such as Miriam Makeba (who was a close friend of Lorraine and Thandie) as well as Dolly Rathebe, Dorothy Masuka, Sophie Mgcina and Busi Mhlongo who frequented her mother’s home.

For the last thirteen years, Arrested Development has performed concerts in literally every part of the world. They continue to release new music and find new success in different corners of the globe. Their shows are a celebration of life. Experiencing an Arrested Development concert is an uplifting and spiritual event wrapped into one big party.
In 2013, founding member and front man Speech, teamed up with multi platinum award winning producer and hit maker Kevin “Khao” Cates, (best known for his work with TI, Jay-Z, R.Kelly, Ludacris, Snoop Dog, Lil Kim ) together, they have been working on riveting new music, loaded with powerful lyrics and pulsating grooves, that are sure to stir it up, in the hearts and souls of hip hop fans everywhere.
Hardwork Movement is a hip-hop group based out of Philadelphia, PA. We aim to make music that is inclusive, original, and inspires all listeners to strive towards uniqueness in all that they do. We believe that the power of the group is much stronger than the power of the individual, and we aim to push ourselves and those around us to new heights inside and outside of the music.

Rooted in ancient Japanese tradition, Tamagawa’s high-energy performances have garnered competitive awards in Japan as well as rave reviews in the states. Tamagawa’s nearly thirty drummers and dancers from Tamagawa University take the stage in a visual and audio spectacle to light up audiences of all ages. One of Japan’s top performing arts schools and their Taiko group is ranked among the top three in the world, yhe group is led by a great Kabuki-dance master, Isaburoh Hanayagi.
Having toured extensively in East Coast since 2003, Tamagawa preformed at the Kennedy Center, the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC., the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia, and the NBA Half-time show at the Wachovia Center. The Bride has offered an intimate setting for Tamagawa performers to engage audiences since 2006, growing in popularity each year. Colorful kimonos, masks, and unique choreography are perfect for a family night outing!
