The Grammy-nominated South African band of Sharon Katz & The Peace Train always sell-out, so get your tickets early and put on your dancing shoes for the Afro-Rock-Folk-Jazz-Fusion concert party and luncheon – and help HIV/AIDS orphans get an education, too. They are the band that worked for Nelson Mandela to end apartheid, and they’ve been using their concerts and CD sales ever since to promote human rights, end poverty, build schools and feed the children. This year’s all-star band will feature a few surprises, too.
