Our Mission:
To involve as many individuals, organizations, businesses, neighborhoods, etc in this one-day, cross-cultural event! Make Music Philly will showcase some of the best talent on the planet that is right in our own backyard while building city-wide unity through our amazing music scene.
Who Can Participate:
Anywhere in the city can become a backdrop for live music. This includes organized concerts and informal performances hosted at formal venues and in parks, play- grounds, on sidewalks, store fronts, your front stoop, a busy Septa stop…. you name it!
Any caliber of musician can perform. Professionals and amateurs of all ages and genres- from your cousin who plays the tuba, to a local band, a school drum line, Philly musical icons, the Mummers, to the Philadelphia Orchestra.
