Featuring

Host - Ron Kravitz
This show marks our 17th year anniversary!
My musical journey began at an early age, when my mom “tricked” me into taking "those voice lessons”, which I ended up loving.
At other points along the path, rhythm & the discovery of “movement”, became the other essential and accompanying pieces. I give thanks to all my teachers, friends, colleagues and family members for their love, support & inspiration along the way. There has been nothing quite as profound as this experience of listening, "playing" together, and then sharing it, which continually brings me joy and connection with We and a Greater Spirit!
Blessings to us all in the New Year!

Comedian - Aviva PerloAviva has been sharing improvisational performance art with ages 5-105 for over 15 years. She believes life itself is a stage, and truth is stranger than fiction. Her performances are rated 'D & P', deep and playful.

Guitarists - Bill DeHaven and Michael StaufferMichael and Bill have each been playing guitar and percussion for half a lifetime, exploring rock, psychedelic jams, Afro-latin jazz, and purely improvisational music for Group Motion contact improv workshops. Tonight they come together on guitar with special guest, Randy Decker on percussion as The Choco Brothers, to show their new project, a study of jazz standards.

Vocalist - Megan HenryMegan studied music through Oberlin Conservatory and then on to Manhattan School of Music.
After singing classical music for many years she was introduced to free improvisation by Rhiannon, and then a year later to the Music for People improvisation program. Through these experiences she has been able to tap into another form of music that is from the heart and the spirit, and that is where she lives. It isn't new, as nothing is new on the earth, but it is honest and she finds it to be one of the most profound ways of expression.

Percussionists - Bret Cohen & Radha Gopinath Das Marinelli"Radha Gopinath Das Marinelli and Bret Cohen are two people based in Philadelphia that have spent their lives studying and cultivating the percussive arts. They share a practice that is sometimes called Praying Music, or Drummer's Sanctuary, wherein life happens. Nature comes through, consciousness is altered, love is felt, the present moment is, community is shared."
