We continue to be blessed by our village.

V. Shayne Frederick, who was scheduled for our Arts in the Parlor series before COVID, has been working with us to offer an exclusive live streaming experience. Embracing protocols for community safety, we are proud to be able to offer this concert for viewing in your homes and on your phones through our Facebook at Paul Robeson House Events.

In planning conversations, we were taken aback by V. Shayne’s offering of “What do you need? How can we support?” One of the projects that requires immediate attention but not accounted for in our successful shared fundraiser with the Colored Girls Museum is the restoration of The Paul Robeson House & Museum’s 3rd floor facade. (Pictured below) What may look like just requiring a new paint job, we have been told also requires attention to the rotting wood.

Proceeds from this concert will support that restoration project, and we’ve set a goal of $5,000 in the lead up and in celebration of this unique, one-of-a-kind experience. We ask that you donate what's right for you. Suggestions of increments of $10, $20, $50, and $100.
