Sistahs Laying Down Hands is a multi-artistry collective that utilizes the rhythms of the drums, spoken word, prose, storytelling, dance and movement to encourage and engage with the community; having interactive moments which includes an open mic; assist with writing poetry and learning an African folk song; all these activities supporting our mission of the importance of keeping our legacy alive and passing the lessons to our future generations.
The Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy is proud to support this free event through the Neighborhood Arts Programs.
