Please join us for a beautiful evening of music at The Vale, a pluricultural hideaway in West Mt. Airy!
Doors at 7, music at 7:45, Last act finishes at 10:30.
It's con mucha alegria that we welcome back our favorite boys from Colombia, El Caribefunk! This year, on the heels of a recent Latin Grammy nomination, they're celebrating their 10th year as a band. Come dance the night away with their Caribbean fusion that captures the rhythm and flow of their hometown, Cartagena, Colombia.
Performing first with his band will be your host, Ryan Tennis (that's me). Hailing from Philadelphia, America's City of Brotherly Love, Ryan Tennis' music is all about dismantling boundaries and bringing people together. Genre-defiant by nature and with diversity at its core, his rousing songs are infused with the rhythms from the many countries he’s visited during his extensive tours. While his performances are dynamic and danceable, Tennis’ voice and songs have a disarming sweetness that lowers your defenses and lets you breathe easy.
Drinks and light snacks will be provided, and we’ll be asking for $25. To reserve a space, send payment via Venmo to @ryantennismusic or PayPal (friends and family method) to ryantennismusic@gmail.com. We're expecting this to sell out, so make your reservations early!
***PARKING: PLEASE PARK ON CRESHEIM ST., which is just a block from my house, and not on Sedgwick St.***
When coming and going, please be respectful of our neighbors and keep conversations at a reasonable volume.
