Join us for an enchanting evening of culture and music at Noche de Bohemia: The Bolero on Friday, October 18, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Taller Puertorriqueño. This event, a collaboration between Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas and Taller Puertorriqueño, will feature a captivating blend of poetry and music by José Santiago and Daniel de Jesús, along with lively performances by Raíces Boricuas, who will showcase both classic boleros and dance music.
The evening will include a short presentation on the history and significance of the bolero, followed by evocative poetry readings and live music. We also invite audience members to participate in an open mic segment, providing a space for anyone wishing to share their own poetry or musical talents. Light refreshments will be served throughout the night.
Admission is just $10 per person (at the door), which includes a raffle ticket for exciting prizes, such as books and CDs. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Latino culture while enjoying an unforgettable night of art, rhythm, and community. We look forward to seeing you there!
