Philly P’arriba brings Rueda de Casino (also known as Cuban salsa) to the City of Brotherly Love!
Rueda de Casino combines rich Latin and Afro-Cuban rhythms and was born of a determination to build community in a challenging political climate. The dance consists of high energy calls in a circle of constantly rotating partners, creating a whirlwind of rhythm and laughter.
Philly P’arriba classes are all levels all the time, and they encourage new and experienced dancers alike to join in creating joy, community, and connection through the joy of the rueda.
