You're invited "Harmony at the Vale," a special Tracks at the Vale where YOU are part of the performance!

The idea is this - each of our five acts will perform original songs where they teach the crowd parts to singalong, with lyrics provided. Come ready to contribute to the sound! If you're comfortable singing, that's great, and if the thought of singing out loud makes you nervous but excited, even better! This is a chance to step to the edge of your comfort zone and sing new music with a lot of lovely people. Ryan will open up the night with a few exercises to open up the voice and connect with each other, then the show begins!

In celebration of the first day of Kwanzaa, the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) will host its annual Umoja – Unity Ceremony on Thursday, December 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This family-friendly event will feature drumming, live performances, community conversations, and cultural activities that reflect the spirit of Umoja, the foundational principle of the Nguzo Saba. Guests will enjoy food, music, and opportunities to engage in traditions that promote togetherness, reflection, and cultural pride.

Jaffna is an acoustic, ethnic fusion ensemble that plays original music. This Philadelphia-based world music ensemble combines instrumentation and influences from the Middle East, India, and anywhere else that inspires them. With roots in the early 1990s, the group maintains its distinct style with original compositions and improvisations that stretch the boundaries of their respective cultures. Jaffna has produced 2 CDs of original music and its members maintain a high level of activity in many world music projects such as Barakka, One, Hindugrass, Arehm and Atzilut.

Grupo Sumak is a Philly-based band made up of immigrants from Latin America. They play music inspired from Peruvian chicha and Colombian cumbia and infuse it with the grit and flavor of the beautiful city of Philadelphia. They like to get people dancing in joy and rebellion as they play hypnotic grooves and psychedelic electric guitars.
