Explore the African diaspora's deep influence on the cultures of Brazil at this FREE Community afternoon, presented in partnership with ODUNDE and the Brasil Cultural Center of Philadelphia. Part of the ongoing Imagine Africa with the Penn Museum Gallery Project.
Enjoy live Brazilian performances, including a demonstration of Capoeira Angola (African-Brazilian martial art), as well as music & dance workshops, a lecture demonstration, film screening, and crafts. See below for schedule of events:
