Beats, Brews, & Banter is a free monthly event that gives local drummers, musicians, and wannabes a chance to network, share ideas, and learn from some of the best drummers in the area. This month's featured guest Tre Lambert of Tye Tribbett's Grammy award-winning band. Tre will discuss his experiences and demonstrate his drumming techniques and chops that have allowed him to play with some of the best musicians in the gospel and R&B industries. Tre will also bring a house band and invite drummers on stage to play along!
Philly Drum Project is a percussive collective dedicated to making drumming more accessible by helping drummers in the Philadelphia area share gear, lessons, and beats. Beats, Brews, & Banter is held on the first Tuesday of every month and has featured such drummers as Eric Slick (Dr. Dog), Spanky McCurdy (Jill Scott, Lady Gaga), and Fred Berman (Amos Lee).
