September 26, 2014 7:00-9:00 PM Tertulia: In Honor of Hispanic Heritage Month/ A Celebration of Art and Music

Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas will hold a special Tertulia in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month that will include a traditional Latin food potluck and a series of performances by local musicians and dancers from Latin America. Performers will include: Gerardo Razumney a celebrated Tango instructor, the Johnny Cruz Latin Jazz Ensemble, and Cenzontle Cuicatl, an Aztec dance group, among many others.

¡Que Viva La Herencia Latina! 2nd Annual Musical & Culinary Arts Explosion is Raíces’ second annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration and we invite members of the community to attend and bring their instrument, dancing shoes, folkloric costume, or favorite dish. All are welcome to perform their favorite song or dance during Open Mic.
