September 21, 2014 12:30-5:00 PM 30th Annual Feria del Barrio on North 5th Street

Showcasing the best that El Centro de Oro (The Golden Center) has to offer, we present the 30th Annual Feria del Barrio celebration. This year’s FERIA will be on Sunday, September 21st, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. along North 5th Street between Cambria and Lehigh Avenue. Feria is a collaboration between Taller Puertorriqueño (Taller), Congreso de Latinos Unidos (Congreso), HACE and Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas (Raíces).

Since 1979 La Feria del Barrio celebrates Latino culture, family, and the economic and educational aspirations of the people of North Philadelphia with:

Live Latin music and dancing
Latino food delicacies
Art and crafts
Much, much more
FERIA has expanded opportunities for artists, promoted civic engagement, attracted new audiences and built new relationships with other arts and community organizations that have helped create an environment for improved economic and commercial activity. Since Feria del Barrio happens in the heart of Latino Philadelphia, at El Centro de Oro, the business and arts district, its economic benefits impact this corridor and community directly. The partners organizations keep Feria a family friendly destination with activities for children and entertainment for all ages.
