Three internationally renowned artists have been commissioned to react to Dr. Barnes's uncoventional arrangements of art. What will they come up with? What happens when three internationally renowned contemporary artists respond to the legendary Barnes collection? This summer, Mark Dion, Judy Pfaff, and Fred Wilson challenge the way you see Dr. Barnes’s unconventional arrangement of art with provocative large-scale installations in our new exhibition The Order of Things. Philly’s own King Britt will perform a live, improvised sonic presentation along with bassist Anthony Tidd, guitarist Chuck Treece and keyboardist Damon Bennett
