On Wednesday May 20th, come on down to Dilworth Park at Philadelphia’s City Hall for an outdoor 12 NOON show with TIMBALONA, the Argentine/Venezuelan percussion group. They’ve been best described in industry circles as the “Rodrigo & Gabriela of Afro-Latin percussion…if Gabriela was a guy.” They’ve performed with many greats of African, Latin, & Jazz genres, on stages all over the globe. For this FREE lunchtime concert, TIMBALONA will be accompanied by percussionists Ernesto Mariano Medina and Jeffrey Johnson. #sabrosura #philly
