Join us on Friday, July 10th, for Afro Cuban drumming and folklore, which continues to be alive and well here in Philadelphia. Philly Con Sabor's performance group Nuestra Cosa Philly will also be sharing a piece with us, featuring rueda de casino dance patterns.
The proceeds of this event will go towards Timbalona's next project, focused on studying concepts and modern approaches of Cuban folkloric and popular music, in order to apply this in future residencies in Philly and surrounding schools. Help Timbalona continue to spread our message of unity, community building, and cultural exchanges through our music!
