August 8, 2015 8:00 PM Fernanda Ulibarri + Interminable at A Seed on Diamond Gallery

From AfroTaino Productions' newsletter, "Keeping You in the Loop":
"Having toured the world performing with Mexican star Julieta Venegas & writing original songs for the popular Nickelodeon cartoon, "Go, Diego, Go!", Fernanda Ulibarri has set out to tour in support of her latest solo effort, "Country from Another Country". The Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter will be blessing this lucky Philadelphian audience with her self-described "polkas de amor". Also performing is the Philly-based experimental group, Interminable, whose sound ventures into the fuzzy overlapping spaces of ambient, jazz, son jarocho, and noise punk. In addition to all the musical energy, the gallery will be celebrating the opening weekend of the new exhibit, “In The Spirit of Gathering Spaces: Collectives, Collaborations and Initiatives. There will be artistic works on display from a handful of artists, including the astounding work of our chief photographer, Bryan Lathrop. This is guaranteed to be another magical night at A Seed on Diamond Gallery."
