With our foundations in Puerto Rico, El Concilio Taino Guatu MaCu A Boriken Inc., is laying down the ground work where we can educate as well as increase public awareness of the Taino people, one of the Indigenous peoples of the Caribbean. We teach through reenactments, dances called areitos, & hands-on seminars to the general public and Taino communities in the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Our seminars touch on the history, language, songs, way of life and the craftwork of our Ancestors.
