Spiral Q Puppet Theater is bringing an Animal Parade Posse to family activities! The Mexican Cultural Center hosts an alebrije (brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures) competition and short talk. Plus a performative talk with artist Nari Ward and exhibition curator Diana Nawi.
The Barnes offers free admission and programs on the first Sunday of every month. Visitors are welcome to attend talks, performances, and hands-on activities throughout the day. Tickets are limited and cannot be reserved in advance; they are available on site starting at 9 am.
