Reaching back to re-call our pasts, while seeing forward to potential futures, Corey's artistic sensibilities are as influenced by speculative fiction and the shared fight for liberation, as by other art in life daily.
Corey has the opportunity to share his love of music at the School of Rock Philadelphia, where he has acted as drum instructor and show director for the past four years. And, you can find Corey performing with groups: Upholstery (drum kit); SWARM (bass); York Street Hustle (congas & percussion); and the John Byrne Band (bass). Long-time resident of a city with an expansive musical and social legacy that has definitively shaped his life, Corey is proud to call Philadelphia his home.
Join us this Saturday for another exciting jam session! Bring your instruments and musical friends, and let's let loose to improv groove! All are welcome to plug into THE JAM JAWN.
