The Penn Museum’s international collection of art and artifacts forms the backdrop of this free annual celebration, the Museum’s holiday “gift” to the community. This spirited event features holiday traditions from throughout the year and around the world. Groups from across the region share their cultural heritage through music and dance performances, craft stations, storytelling, and more. The Museum Shop participates with its annual holiday sale! Admission is FREE for all.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

Performances:
11:30 am: Instructional Drum Circle Workshop with acclaimed world-percussionist Joe Tayoun
12:30 pm: Children’s dance performance by performers from Bharatiya Cultural Center
1:00 pm: Storytelling presented by Michele Belluomini of Blue Deer Storytelling
2:00 pm: Instructional Drum Circle Workshop with acclaimed world-percussionist Joe Tayoun
2:30 pm: Musical performance by Penn Flutes
3:30 pm: Daria’s World Music for Children

Other activities:
11:00 am - 4:00 pm: Get hands-on with craft activities for kids and families, and shop for gifts from local vendors
12:00 - 3:00 pm: Visit international and cultural stations to earn stamps for your Passport to Cultures
1:00 - 3:30 pm: Balloon animals by Family Fun Entertainment
1:00 - 3:30 pm: Facepaint by Peanutbutter, Inc.
