Taller Puertorriqueño invites you to join us for our Noche de Paz (Silent Night) Parranda and support Taller, its programs, and our community. We will welcome supporters and community members for en evening of music, food, and fellowship to lift our spirits in holiday celebration during these difficult times.
Many of us have experienced anxiety and uncertainty about the wellbeing of family, friends, and neighbors following recent disasters, from earthquakes in Mexico, to hurricanes in the gulf and the Caribbean, to wildfires on the West Coast. In the case of Puerto Rico, limited access to direct communication with loved ones combined with disturbing images of devastation and the lack of basic items for survival have made this a particularly difficult time for our community.
In response to these concerns, Taller has partnered with other Latino community leaders and organizations to form Unidos PA’PR, dedicated to raising money, coordinating services and providing desperately needed essentials. While addressing these growing crises, Taller has continued to provide programming and events for people in our community and across the region. As we approach the end of this difficult year, we hope you can join us for this especially meaningful event: our Noche de Paz Parranda.
