Brazilian music w Rafael Pondé at the Franny Lou´s Porch

From Rafael:
Hello Philly Family, i will do a concert to celebrate and release my new album "Live at the Boom Room" . its gonna be at Franny lous Porch, our amazing community Coffee shop in Fishtown. I am gonna have couple of friends who played in the album playing with me. Its gonna be an amazing night of Brazilian music and Caribbean sounds!! We also gonna have the participation of the singer Marcos Costa from Ilê Ayê in our concert! Ilê Aiyê, or simply Ilê, is the oldest Afro block of the carnival of the city of Salvador, in the state of Bahia, Brazil. Created on November 1, 1974, the Ilê was the first Afro block in Brazil and today it constitutes a cultural group fighting for the valorization and inclusion of the afro descendant population, inspiring the creation of many other cultural groups in Brazil and in the world. The expression comes from the Yoruba language: ilê - 'patria'; aiyê - 'forever' or 'in eternity'. Lets get together in the moon light and bonfire to celebrate life and Friendship. There will be a community Jam session after the concert so bring your instrument!

The space has limited public capacity and we gonna be selling the CD $10 ( which gives you the right of entry in the party) in advance, so get your Cd/ticket in advance here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=24L93JUFJACWY
