Nordeste Revival is the name of my new EP and concert that i will be launching in DC. In this show, you will be able to enjoy the music of Brazil (Samba, Forró, Reggae). Salvador, my birthplace, was founded by the Portuguese in 1549, and was one of the most important ports in the beginning of Brazilian colonization.My new album comes full of political and social messages about Brazil´s actual moment. In songs like "Panela seletiva" and "Não vai destruir o amor", for example.The EP has the participation of a lot of musicians and is already available in all platforms.
After Joes Pub in New York and Bossa Bistro in Washington DC, its time to release my new EP Nordeste revival in Philadelphia and i want to invite you to come and celebrate with me and my trio formed by the greats Raudelis Cisneiros in the multi percussion and Josias Galley which is an amazing multi instrumentalist and record producer from Togo (Africa) that lives in Philly for about 9 years now. The show is going to take place at the amazing Arturo"s house in South Philly. We gonna be providing Food and some drinks.
