February 22, 2020 12:00-1:00PM West African Dance Class with Anssumane Sillá at BalletX

Join dancer/drummer/choreographer Anssumane Sillá as he enthusiastically invites the whole family to share in the joy of learning traditional dance styles from Balanta, Bijagos, Fula, and Manjaco, as well as contemporary dances from Ansumane’s native Guinea Bissau. Celebrate dancing in a supportive space, gain some new insight into West African traditions, and get an exhilarating workout in this open class!

  • Saturdays 12:00pm-1:00pm
  • There will be no class on the following days:  5/30/20, and 7/4/20
Family class rate
  • $25 per family (good for 4 people)
  • Additional adult add $10
  • Additional child add $5.

You can drop into all of BalletX’s classes – just show up and check in at reception!
