We're back at it this Monday night for our monthly Beats, Brews, & Banter event. Our featured guest this month is the legendary free jazz and fusion drummer G. Calvin Weston. Calvin has recorded and toured with such acts as Ornette Coleman, The Lounge Lizards, and a duo with Billy Martin. He currently plays with Treasures of the Spirit, a Billy Cobham/Mahavishnu Orchestra tribute band. The event goes from 7-9pm this Monday at Boot & Saddle in South Philly. It's a "bring your own drum throne to sit on" meeting. Yes, really!
